OREGON PRIDE LACROSSE PRIVACY POLICY, REGISTRATION TERMS, AND REFUND POLICY

1. Introduction

Oregon Pride Lacrosse is committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of our players, parents, guardians, coaches, volunteers, and website visitors.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, protect, and disclose information obtained through our programs, camps, clinics, tournaments, events, and website.

By registering for any Oregon Pride Lacrosse program, season, clinic, camp, tournament, or event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Privacy Policy and all associated registration terms.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following information:

Personal Information

  • Player name

  • Parent/guardian name

  • Email addresses

  • Phone numbers

  • Mailing addresses

  • Birth dates

  • Graduation years

By registering for any Oregon Pride Lacrosse program, you grant Oregon Pride Lacrosse permission to:

    • Marketing materials

    • Print and digital advertisements

Participants and parents waive any right to compensation related to such use.

  • Service providers assisting with registration, communication, or payment processing

However, no security system can guarantee complete protection. Participation is at the user's own risk.

Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that submitted information is accurate and current.

8. Communication Consent

By registering, participants and parents consent to receiving communications from Oregon Pride Lacrosse, including:

  • Emails

  • Text messages

  • Team announcements

  • Schedule updates

  • Registration reminders

  • Emergency notifications

Standard carrier rates may apply to text messages.

REGISTRATION, PAYMENT, CANCELLATION, AND REFUND POLICY

9. Registration Commitment

Registration for any Oregon Pride Lacrosse season, camp, clinic, tournament, showcase, or event constitutes a financial commitment.

Roster spots are limited and reserved based upon completed registration and payment.

Once payment is made, Oregon Pride Lacrosse incurs expenses including, but not limited to:

  • Facility rentals

  • Coaching staff commitments

  • Administrative costs

  • Equipment purchases

  • Tournament registrations

  • Uniform orders

  • Insurance costs

For this reason, all registrations are considered final.

10. Strict No-Refund Policy

GENERAL RULE

ALL FEES PAID TO OREGON PRIDE LACROSSE ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

This policy applies to:

  • Club seasons

  • Travel teams

  • Camps

  • Clinics

  • Training sessions

  • Tournaments

  • Showcases

  • Special events

No refunds will be granted for:

  • Schedule conflicts

  • Family vacations

  • Change of interest

  • School activities

  • Other sports commitments

  • Team placement dissatisfaction

  • Personal preference

  • Relocation

  • Weather-related interruptions

  • Missed sessions

  • Voluntary withdrawal

  • Disciplinary removal

  • Failure to attend

11. Season-Ending Injury Exception

The ONLY circumstance under which a refund may be considered is a verified season-ending injury.

To qualify:

  1. The injury must occur after registration.

  2. The injury must prevent participation for the remainder of the registered season or camp.

  3. Written documentation must be provided from a licensed physician.

  4. Documentation must clearly state that the athlete is medically unable to participate for the duration of the season or event.

Oregon Pride Lacrosse reserves sole discretion in determining eligibility for a refund.

Approved refunds may be prorated based on:

  • Participation already completed

  • Expenses already incurred

  • Non-recoverable costs

Administrative fees, uniform costs, tournament fees, and other committed expenses may be deducted from any approved refund.

12. Camp and Clinic Injuries

For camps and clinics, refund requests due to injury must be submitted before the start date of the event.

Once a camp or clinic has begun, no refund will be issued except in extraordinary circumstances approved by Oregon Pride Lacrosse management.

13. Weather and Force Majeure

No refunds will be issued for cancellations, interruptions, or schedule modifications caused by circumstances outside Oregon Pride Lacrosse's control, including:

  • Severe weather

  • Wildfires

  • Smoke conditions

  • Natural disasters

  • Public health emergencies

  • Acts of government

  • Facility closures

  • Transportation disruptions

  • Other force majeure events

Make-up sessions may be offered at Oregon Pride Lacrosse's discretion.

14. Assumption of Risk

Participation in lacrosse involves inherent risks including:

  • Physical injury

  • Concussions

  • Illness

  • Permanent disability

  • Death

By participating, players and parents acknowledge and accept these risks.

15. Policy Acceptance

By registering for any Oregon Pride Lacrosse program and submitting payment, participants and parents:

  • Acknowledge receipt of this policy;

  • Agree to be bound by all terms;

  • Understand that all payments are final;

  • Understand that refunds are only available for verified season-ending injuries;

  • Waive any claim for refunds outside of the policy described above.
